Dear Residents of Caronport,
We received a report of a possible cougar sighting north of Caronport on the evening of Tuesday April 27, 2021. A conservation officer has done an investigation and cannot confirm this sighting.
Please be aware that these animals do not want to be seen nor disturbed. If you believe you have seen a cougar please call the following tip line 1-800-667-7561. We ask that you don't go walking outside of the Village after dusk and don't leave pets or small children unattended.
