An Update from the Village

April 7, 2020

Dear Residents of Caronport,

We hope that everyone is safe and taking precautions as recommended by the Saskatchewan Health Authority.  For more information please refer to https://www.saskhealthauthorit...

Council and staff are closely watching the COVID-19 situation as it evolves. Each passing day brings new developments but our top priority remains the health and well-being of our residents and community.

Our office remains closed to public access except by appointment. Office staff may be contacted by telephone and e-mail during regular office hours.  Utility and Tax payments can still be made online, by mail or dropping a cheque into the mail box located in front of the Village office. The assessment roll is still open until May 4, 2020 and is posted on our website www.caronport.ca  for viewing. Please contact the office or SAMA at 1-800-667-7262 if you have any questions about your assessment.

We are not charging interest on late payments for utility bills for March, April and May for those of you who are not able to pay but we are asking that you make your best effort as we do not know how long this will continue.

Our Public Works Staff is available in case of an emergency.

As always, our Council is here to help you. Please do not hesitate to contact them if you have any questions or concerns.

Graduating Students please don't forget to submit your applications for the Village of Caronport Bursary by May 8, 2020. It is an annual scholarship of $500.00 for a Briercrest Christian Academy student who will be attending a certified post-secondary institution. Find the application on our website www.caronport.ca.

We thank you for your patience and understanding. We hope that everyone is making responsible decisions for themselves and families. Please take care.
